Structural Roof Assessments

Gamcorp provides detailed structural assessment and certification that is regularly required for the installation of roof-mounted array frames for installation in Australia & New Zealand. The assessments calculate the structural capacity of the roof to ensure there is adequate strength in the roof area when additional wind loads and weight are imposed. Our assessment ensures that your clients and project certifiers know that their buildings are structurally safe and that you have taken measures to ensure an effective and capable design.

For first 1ST roof

Pricing is based on the number of different buildings and roof structure areas on the site. The base fee for a single building with one type of roof structure is $950 ex GST. For a building with more than one structural roof area an incremental fee of $550.00 ex GST per additional roof area.

structural Site Inspections

$850

Half-day rate

Our pricing is structured based on the number of roof areas to be inspected, with options for half day (3 hrs) and full day (6 hrs) rates. The half day rate is $850 ex GST. while the full day rate is $1600 ex GST. Typically, 2-3 roof inspection points fall within the half day rate, and 5-6 inspection points are covered by the full day rate.

Additionally, travel charges, calculated according to the distance from the inspector's base of operation, will be added to the proposal. Please contact us for a quote or further information on our inspection services.

Lightweight panel installation

$1,200

First Building

When traditional panels aren't suitable for your building's structure, we can assess the possibility of using lightweight panels that do not have racking and are connected to your roof using approved adhesives. These innovative panels are easy to install, reduce structural demands, and offer a seamless integration with your building.

The base cost of $1,200 ex GST covers the fixing connection of the lightweight system onto your roof structure. Providing installation guidance on the amount of fixing required based on laboratory testing capacities.

Site Specific Array Frame Certification

If you are looking to use a particular Array Frame that needs special requirements that are not found in the general certification from the manufacturer, or you are wanting to optimise the fixing spacing then we can perform a Site Specific Array Frame Certification which can check whether the Array you are planning to use can work in the parameters that fall out of the particular general certification. A common example of this is on buildings that are greater than 20m in height and/or embedded into concrete roofs etc.

Some Array Frame manufacturers can provide site specific assessments but if they cannot, feel free to reach out to Gamcorp directly.
