Solar Ready · Engineering overview
Ground-mount solar engineering
From site conditions to a defined certification scope.
We help solar installers and mounting-system suppliers understand what needs assessing, what information is required and what engineering documents their project needs.
Each design depends on its site, frame, panels and foundations. We scope the engineering around the arrangement being proposed.

The Problem
Will the array and its foundations work at this site?
A mounting system that suits the panel layout may still need changes to its support frame or foundations. We assess the site conditions and proposed design together, then identify the checks, changes and information needed to define the work.
What We Assess
Engineering For The Proposed Site.
Site Conditions & Loads
We review site wind conditions, geotechnical information and any foundation or testing data supplied.
Panels, Frames & Connections
We assess the proposed panels, mounting frame, connections, clearance and support arrangement within the agreed scope.
Foundation Design
We check the proposed footing or ballast arrangement against the site information and structural loads.
Design Changes
We identify what needs changing or confirming before the structural design can be finalised.
Practical Examples
Small Changes Can Affect The Whole Design.
Examples from separate ground-mount assessments.
What You’ll Receive
Documents Matched To The Agreed Scope.
- Structural calculations and report: the engineering basis and assessment for the proposed ground-mount arrangement.
- Design notes or drawing mark-ups: required changes or details for the mounting-system drawing pack, where included.
- Site-specific certification: a certificate covering the design and conditions assessed, with its scope identified.
Inspections, testing, design revisions and checks of completed installation are included only when listed in the agreed scope.
Scope & Pricing
Price Follows The Site And Design.
Ground-mount projects vary with site conditions, foundation type, mounting system and the information available.
We review these details first, then provide a quote that defines the assessment, documents, assumptions and items outside scope. Separate locations or materially changed designs may need separate assessment or certification.
Getting Started
Send The Information You Have.
Share the site location and proposed array layout, panel and mounting-system details, and the foundation proposal.
- Geotechnical information or foundation test results, if available
- Any clearance, ballast or layout changes under consideration
We’ll confirm what else is needed to define the work and prepare a quote.
