Solar Ready explained

Clear costs. A roof assessed for the project.

Understand the engineering before you quote solar, choose an installer or start work on the roof.

Solar Ready

Proposed guide · Internal technical review required before publication.

For installers: price early

Use the calculator or static price tables to allow for engineering in your initial proposal. Select the relevant roof assessment, array frame certification and other services, then confirm the scope and quote with Gamcorp.

For owners: assess before committing

Start with the building records and the decision you need to make. Use the roof assessment and structural requirements to brief installers and compare their proposals; you do not need a final solar system to make an initial enquiry.

Check the mounting and the roof

The roof structure and the proposed array frame are different parts of the assessment. Site-specific mounting certification defines the assessed fixings and loads; roof assessment considers the building supporting them.

Plan panel storage

Pallets place concentrated loads on the roof during installation. Where a pallet-load assessment is included, Gamcorp identifies the assessed weight limits, storage locations and support requirements from the project information.

Agree the next step

Share available drawings, roof photographs and any proposed layout. Missing records may require an inspection. Confirm the selected system, additional design and any post-installation review within your project scope.
