More Than 25 Years Of Engineering Support.

Bill Gamble established Gamcorp’s relationship with ICS more than 25 years ago. Today, we continue to provide structural engineering and certification for transportable shelters that house telecommunications and computer networking equipment.

ResultRevised tie-down brackets were reassessed and certified, and a communications hut received a certificate of compliance.

The Relationship

Built On Bill’s Foundations.

The relationship began with Bill and has continued as ICS’s products and project requirements have evolved. Our work helps ICS turn shelter designs into structurally assessed products with the documentation needed for the agreed scope.

These huts protect the equipment behind communications networks. The structure, supporting frame and connections need to suit the proposed design and operating conditions.

Our Scope

Engineering Before Fabrication.

Shelter Assessment & Calculations

Structural assessment and calculations for equipment huts and slimline shelters, based on the proposed design and supplied project information.

Structural Certification

Certificates of compliance and supporting engineering documents for the assessed shelter designs.

Connections & Design Changes

Review of anchors, tie-down brackets and revised structural details when the design or project requirements change.

Practical Examples

Checking The Details That Matter.

Slimline Shelter Anchors

For a communications shelter, Gamcorp reviewed the structural design and proposed concrete anchors, providing recommendations for the arrangement.

Communications Hut Certification

Our work for a communications hut included structural assessment, calculations and a certificate of compliance.

Reassessing Tie-Down Brackets

Gamcorp reassessed and certified shelter tie-down brackets for another project. Checking the connections is part of checking the complete structure.

Connected Infrastructure

The Shelter & The Tower Work Together.

ICS and Civilmart come together on telecommunications projects: ICS manufactures the equipment shelters, while Civilmart supplies the Rocla telecommunications poles. Together, these form key parts of a network site.

ICS’s Series 1 mobile base station brings an equipment shelter, a Rocla concrete pole and a foundation into one transportable compound. Gamcorp supports these manufacturers with structural engineering and certification within each project’s agreed scope.

The Result

Assessed Designs. Documented Connections.

  • Anchor recommendations: structural review identified recommendations for a slimline shelter’s proposed concrete anchors.
  • Shelter certification: a communications hut received structural calculations and a certificate of compliance.
  • Changes checked: revised tie-down brackets were reassessed and certified.

These are outcomes from separate ICS jobs, showing how the relationship supports manufacture and changing project requirements.
